We scheduled Axium for a home inspection on a property we were looking to purchase on the recommendation of someone in the family. I work in the construction industry on the commercial side and spend a lot of time identifying and trying to get construction issues resolved, so it was very important to me that the inspections on my potential future home be as thorough and informative as possible.
Mike Donahue was our inspector and did a terrific job! He made excellent use of the time he had onsite, while being extremely thorough. He was informative and explained his findings as he went along, answered all of our questions, took a closer look at all areas of the home we had concerns about, and offered helpful suggestions on what to do with the information provided to us. He also took the time at the end of the inspection to go over all of his findings, provide his contact information should we have any other questions, and was careful about leaving the home in the condition it was found in (lights off, doors locked) when we left.
We opted to do radon testing, infrared inspections, and sewer scoping (these were performed by a 3rd party company, Sewer Optics) in addition to the standard home inspection and were offered a competitive rate to bundle all services into one. This greatly simplified the process for us and took a lot of the coordination work out of our hands, and I did not feel the service was lacking in any way by having scheduled everything through Axium. Axium was prompt in getting our inspections scheduled and communicating throughout the whole process, and our reports were delivered quickly following the inspection.
I look forward to reviewing the results of Mike’s report and using the information he gathered to see that any issues are able to be resolved before we finalize the purchase of our new home!
