Axium will provide the labor and materials
necessary to install a sub-slab/membrane depressurization
system to insure the radon gas levels are below 3.9
pCi/l for. All accessible crawl spaces will be lined
with polyethylene sheeting. Sheeting and all penetrations
will be secured an sealed to the foundation with one
part urethane. All materials used by Axium are of the
highest quality, using polyurethane caulk to seal the
perimeter and penetrations of the unfinished portions
of slab, view ports in sumps, Schedule 40 PVC pipe,
manometers for monitoring and fan motors manufactured
in the USA. Exterior work includes labor to paint the
system if paint is provided the day of the mitigation.
Stainless steel clamps with rubber bushings are used
to secure the system.
